If you have a question about this talk, please contact Jan Samols. Come and hear about the day-to-day life of a Game Studio. We’ll talk about Studio Gobo’s values and goals, particularly around innovation and creativity, and some impressions from Cambridge students who had internships with us this summer. Recent Cambridge alumnus and newest member of the team at Gobo, Alastair Toft will talk about starting out in commercial game development. Finally, James Callin, Technical Director and co-founder of Studio Gobo will talk about some of the studio’s recently published technical innovations, focussing on some advances made in simulating and rendering ocean surfaces on consoles for high end games.
