Ettore Settanni from CIM is going to explain more about his new role in IfM as the Data Champion. Following a call advertised in October last year by the Office of Scholarly Communication, Ettore was selected as the Data Champion for IfM. Data Champions are local experts on research data management and sharing who have been chosen by the central Research Data team (www.data.cam.ac.uk/intro-datachampions) to provide advice and training to their colleagues. As part of his role, Ettore welcomes questions about data management in manufacturing and can speak at meetings about the benefits of managing and sharing research data
