A Winton teatime discussion hosted by Emily Dunning, the Coordinator of the Living Laboratory for Sustainability, based within the Estate Management Division at the University of Cambridge.

The ‘Living Lab’ uses research within the University to apply here too, in order to create more positive environmental sustainability outcomes. It largely takes the form of voluntary projects, academic projects (by undergraduates, Masters or PhD students) and summer internships. Further info can be found here: http://www.environment.admin.cam.ac.uk/getting-involved/living-laboratory-sustainability

Emily will give a brief presentation about the Living Lab, its context within wider efforts to improve sustainability at the University and some project examples focused on energy efficiency/saving. This will be followed by a discussion and ideas generation about what projects could be undertaken here at the University focused on reducing energy use and other sustainability topics.

This talk is part of the Winton Discussions series.
