Professor Andy Neely, the Head of IfM, would be providing a feedback on initial outputs the Cross-IfM Research Opportunity Discussion, which was kicked-off at the beginning of term.

Over this Michaelmas term, IfM research Centres have been involved in a process of developing research ideas relevant to the future of manufacturing. At this Buns Talk, Andy will present the outputs from this process, focusing especially on the interesting research themes that have emerged. These themes will be discussed, and the next steps in cross-centre collaboration in clarifying and developing them will be outlined. Also, he will be highlighting what our roles as researchers and research centres would be in joining up to drive and support research under these themes, and reiterating the opportunities and possibilities that could arise from our cross-collaboration to ensure IfM is at forefront of knowledge key to the future of manufacturing.
