Scalability and Efficiency in Multitier Data Storage

We consider interesting scalablity and efficiency problems in multitier data storage systems and briefly outline our recent results on low-latency storage management for key-value stores, host-side data durability for distributed filesystems, along with scalable access control and privacy preservation in shared storage infrastructures.
