If you have a question about this talk, please contact sb771. The Department spends a significant amount of time and resource on teaching undergraduates in all 3 years of their degree. The start of the academic year provides an opportunity for the Teaching team to share our successes and present innovations in our teaching for the new year. New resources such as pre-laboratory exercises and videos will be presented, as well as the new Virtual Learning Environment Moodle. As part of my work on the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning, I will also present the results of a pilot study into how students engage with the scientific literature, which may challenge our assumptions of how we are training the next generation of Plant Scientists.
