Theory of Water Waves

In this talk, I will discuss the spectral stability for the periodic traveling wave with constant vorticity. We will discuss relationships between stability of the traveling wave with respect to long-wave perturbations and the structure of the bifurcation curve for small amplitude solutions.

This talk is part of the Isaac Newton Institute Seminar Series series.
