Interactions between Dynamics of Group Actions and Number Theory

Oppenheim conjecture which I proved in mid-eighties says that the set of values at integral points of an irrational indefinite quadratic form in 3 or more variables is dense in R (this is a slightly stronger than the original formulation). I will discuss various approaches to this conjecture and its quantitative generalizations.
