“Modelling aspects of tumour growth and progression”

This talk will survey a number of different modelling approaches that have been taken to investigate aspects of tumour growth, ranging from simple ordinary differential equation models, to partial differential equation models and hybrid cellular automaton type models. Applications will include colorectal cancer growth, acid-mediated tumour progression, and possible therapeutic implications.
