The myPersonality Facebook application has collected more than 10,000 addictive substance use and dependency responses from participants worldwide, as well as a multi-item delay discounting measure, a trait impulsivity scale (BIS-11), big five personality trait scores, and demographics. I present data showing that the link between delay discounting and addictive behaviours is reliable no matter how discounting is measured. Furthermore the relationship between all psychodemographics and addictive behaviours (use and dependency) is explored.

This talk is part of the Social Psychology Seminar Series (SPSS) series.
