The artist Gauguin famously aksed three questions – What are we? Where do we come from?
Where are we going? For a physicist, these become – What is the structure of matter? How did
the Universe evolve? How will it evolve in the future? Experiments at the LHC are addressing
these questions, and this talk will explore the prospects for finding answers.’
