Discrete Analysis

I am going to talk about joint results with Arzhantseva, Guba, Drutu and Dranishnikov. It turned out that the same method is used to compute the Hilbert compression of a group (in particular, the Thompson group F) and its dimension growth. Some open problems will be discussed also.
