This poster falls into two parts. The first part illustrates a method for computing the topological entropy of pseudo-Anosov braids using the Dynnikov coordinate system which is computationally much more efficient than the usual Thurstons train track approach and the second part discusses the relation between the train track transition matrix and Dynnikov matrices.
