TWT - Twistor theory I will report on the on-going project with Omid Makhmali, where we describe the background geometry underlying integrable dispersionless systems of dimensions 5 and higher, where the symbol of the equation is necessary degenerate. In dimension 5 this turns out to be the parabolic geometry of type (A3,P13) both elliptic and hyperbolic in real case. Twistor theory however takes a turn from complex geometry to 2-nondegenerate CR structures. In higher dimensions parabolic background becomes exotic, and such cases can be classified.
