If you have a question about this talk, please contact nobody. TWTW01 - Twistors in Geometry & Physics Spin(7) manifolds are 8-dimensional smooth manifolds which admit a special type of 4-form. Their study was initially motivated by the search for manifolds with holonomy Spin(7), one of the two sporadic groups on Berger’s list. In an effort to better understand these manifolds, we propose a notion of twistor space for them. This is a report on work in progress with Spiro Karigiannis, Lucia Martin-Merchan, and Aleksandar Milivojevic. This talk is part of the Isaac Newton Institute Seminar Series series.
