If you have a question about this talk, please contact Stephen Kell.

I will give a brief summary of what went on in the 7th ACM Conference on Embedded Networked Sensor Systems (SenSys 2009) two weeks ago in sunny California, including the WISP workshop (http://seattle.intel-research.net/wisp/summit/) I attended before the conference. I’ll describe WISP (an RFID -sensor hybrid), then I’ll introduce the two best papers at Sensys (one about how to map inaccurate map locations to continuous paths – http://db.csail.mit.edu/pubs/vtrack-sensys09.pdf – , and the other about clock synchronization using the AC grid – http://www.andrew.cmu.edu/user/agr/pubpg/sensys-09.pdf), and also a few of my picks.

This talk is part of the Computer Laboratory NetOS Group Talklets series.
