This lecture will describe the systems-level neuroscience of human memory, covering declarative memory (episodic memory, semantic memory, working memory) and nondeclarative memory (priming, conditioning and procedural memory). Dissociations between each type of memory will be supported by evidence from behavioural, neuropsychological and neuroimaging data. The strength of these empirical dissociations, and some of the theoretical debates around them, will be discussed.

This talk is part of the Graduate Programme in Cognitive and Brain Sciences series.
