Decays of beauty mesons to two charm mesons provide a window into both Standard Model (SM) and Beyond Standard Model (BSM) physics. Measurements of these decays using data corresponding to 9fb-1 proton-proton collisions collected by the LHCb detector will be discussed. Decays of the Bc meson to two charm mesons provide insight into the phenomenology of the intriguing Bc meson, and may be useful in future tests of the SM. A search for these decays, which revealed the first evidence for the Bc->Ds+D0bar decay contrary to expectations, will be presented. Secondly, measurements of CP-violation observables and branching fractions in beauty meson to double charm decays, which provide sensitivity to CP-violating BSM physics, will be described. Particular focus is given to new measurements on B- meson decays that are presented for the first time.
