If you have a question about this talk, please contact nobody. MWSW04 - Multiple scattering in engineering and applied sciences To what extent can a layered material be constructed to have prescribed acoustic properties? Can multiple scattering be exploited systematically to achieve desired effects? We discuss open mathematical questions and recent results pertinent to the the acoustic design problem for layered media. This talk is part of the Isaac Newton Institute Seminar Series series.
