If you have a question about this talk, please contact nobody. MWSW03 - Computational methods for multiple scattering Operator preconditioning is a highly successful approach to regularize boundary integral equations. In this talk we provide a practical guide to the use of operator preconditioning in multiple scattering. We start by discussing theoretical foundations and implementational issues. We then do a deep dive into applications in high-intensity focused ultrasound and the simulation of atmospheric particles. Finally, we present some recent work on the performance of OSRC type operator preconditioners for electric field integral equations.
