If you have a question about this talk, please contact Ben Karniely. While companies have made almost every aspect of their business data-driven, human resources has mostly stayed behind. At the same time, ever-faster innovation and transformation have shown that companies that don’t actively manage (or even know) their skills can quickly become irrelevant. TechWolf helps organizations gain a view of their skills based on data already in their systems today – to make this work, we leverage a broad range of natural language processing techniques, detecting and modeling skills in almost any document. In this talk, we will highlight how recent advancements in NLP are put into practice at TechWolf, to transform unstructured documents into valuable, fine-grained information about the skills present within world-class organizations. We will cover academic advances in this field and the practical usage of these techniques in an industrial setting.
