USMW01 - Introduction to Uncertainty Quantification in Mechanics of Materials

In this talk, we review challenges that arise in the stochastic modeling of materials across scales. We discuss various applications ranging from the modeling and simulation of parametric uncertainties in constrained spaces to the representation of model-form uncertainties in computational models.
