AR2W03 - Applicable resurgent asymptotics: summary workshop Many equations, such as arising in gravity waves, are posed on the real line and have oscillations near infinity, which are exponentially small with respect to an asymptotic parameter. We explore the use of modulated Fourier series and global spectral methods in solving such equations numerically, and obtaining high-accuracy approximations to the oscillations.
