AR2W02 - Mathematics of beyond all-orders phenomena The general solutions of discrete Painlevé equations are new transcendental functions, whose behaviours remain generally unexplored. Their asymptotic behaviours appear to be tantalizingly close to those of the solutions of classical Painlevé equations.
