The increased presence of IoT systems globally inevitably increases data collection. It is essential to think carefully about data collection, data storage, cloud computing, and crypto/blockchain ramifications. Collecting and storing data, along with the use of AI and ML, is a huge contributor to carbon footprints. So how can data and data storage be made more sustainable?

Some catering will be provided before the talk.
