AR2W01 - Physical resurgence: On quantum, gauge, and stringy Two-parameter instanton-type solutions are formal solutions of Painlev\’e equations with a large parameter. They play a crucially important role in describing the Stokes phenomena for Painlev\’e equations and formal equivalence between general Painlev\’e equations and the first Painlev\’e equation at a simple turning point. In this talk I would like to review the construction and relevant properties of instanton-type solutions and discuss their analytic interpretation.
