HY2W02 - Analysis of dispersive systems This talk will show that provided the curvature of initial conditions is sufficiently small ( 3u’’ < 1 ) then the reduced Ostrovsky equation maps one-one to an integrable equation. For larger curvatures the solution breaks at finite time. It will also be shown that periodic solutions are orbitally stable. This talk is part of the Isaac Newton Institute Seminar Series series.
