If you have a question about this talk, please contact nobody. TUR - Mathematical aspects of turbulence: where do we stand? Both compressible and incompressible porous medium models are used in the literature to describe the mechanical properties of living tissues. These two classes of models can be related using a stiff pressure law. In the incompressible (or stiff) limit, compressible models generate free-boundary problems of Hele-Shaw type. In this talk, I will present the stiff limit of a model including the advective effects caused, for instance, by the presence of nutrients or attractive chemicals.
