If you have a question about this talk, please contact nobody. FKTW03 - Frontiers in kinetic equations for plasmas and collective behaviour The Vicsek model is widely used to model collective motion. In this talk, I will present recent results on the well-posedness of the kinetic equation and the mean-field limit in the presence of a singularity in the dynamics. This singularity appears when the flux of the particles vanishes. This is joint work with Marc Briant (Paris Descartes) and Antoine Diez (Imperial College London).
