Your kitchen is getting smarter. Smart Home connected appliances are rapidly gaining in market share and home appliance manufacturers are at the frontier of this transformation. The market is still developing at a very high rate: New possibilities are constantly being explored and software development cycles have to be short. Consumers openly voice their ideas for new features on social media, and the expectation is high for their demands to be met quickly. In this talk, you will learn how TNG is working with a client to meet these challenges head-on. We show how, by utilizing a full-stack microservice architecture, we are able to develop, user-test and deploy new features rapidly and independently. All of this while working in a fully remote setup together with people from all over Europe.
