If you have a question about this talk, please contact Ben Karniely. While companies have made almost every aspect of their business data-driven, human resources has mostly stayed behind. At the same time, ever-faster innovation and transformation have shown that companies that don’t actively manage (or even know) their skills can quickly end up becoming irrelevant. TechWolf helps organizations gain a view on their skills based on data already in their systems today – to make this work, we leverage a broad range of natural language processing techniques, detecting and modeling skills in almost any document. This talk will dive into one of our research projects, in which we leveraged a transformer architecture to model and predict a somewhat unique language: the language of career sequences. Josef Valvoda, PhD candidate and visiting researcher at TechWolf, will walk you through the challenges and opportunities found in this new approach.
