CATW03 - Computational complex analysis Complex orthogonal polynomials, and associated quantities such as recurrence coefficients, have been recently used in problems related to highly oscillatory quadrature (construction of complex Gaussian quadrature rules), in the analysis of non-Hermitian random matrix ensembles and also in the study of solutions of Painlevé differential equations. In this talk we will present examples and propose several options for their numerical evaluation. This talk is part of the Isaac Newton Institute Seminar Series series.
