If you have a question about this talk, please contact INI IT. SRQ - Scaling limits, rough paths, quantum field theory I will introduce a variational description of perturbations of Gaussian measures. In the case of the $\Phi^4_3$ measure I will explain how to use the variational formula to prove ultraviolet stability in finite volume and discuss the possibility of an explicit formula for the Laplace transform of the measure after UV cutoff removal. I will describe how the control problem is (heuristically, at the moment) linked with Wilson’s flow equation for the effective potential. This talk is based on joint work with N. Barashkov (Bonn).
