Ms.Christine Zumkeller, former Acting Coordinator, Cooperative Mechanisms, UN Climate Change Secretariat Cooperative Mechanism Unit

We are very happy to invite you to a 4CMR Seminar by Christine Zumkeller former Acting Coordinator, Cooperative Mechanisms, UN Climate Change Secretariat. Ms. Zumkeller worked as the Manager and Acting Coordinator of the UN Climate Change Secretariat Cooperative Mechanism Programme (later renamed Sustainable Development Mechanism Unit). She was involved in the negotiation of the 1997 Kyoto Protocol and its three cooperative mechanisms (Clean Development Mechanism, Joint Implementation, Emissions Trading). During the talk, she will give an overview of the current status and prospects of CDM / JI / ET mechanisms, as well its potential development and limitations. She will also bring her views on the work beyond the ‘Bali Roadmap’.
