A New Type of Duality?Add to your list(s) Download to your calendar using vCal
If you have a question about this talk, please contact Dr. Carl Turner. We will review the basics of 8 supercharge quiver gauge theories in 3 dimensions, defining the Higgs and Coulomb branch as well as certain geometric invariants of these objects. We then show a duality between the Higgs and Coulomb branch that is not (manifestly) 3d mirror symmetry. Time permitting we will also talk about how for ADE quivers these quantities are certain spin chain partition functions. This talk is part of the Quantum Fields and Strings Seminars series.
