If you have a question about this talk, please contact Jan Samols. This talk will give an inside peek into the games company Studio Gobo, to give attendees an idea what a day in the life of a video game developer looks like. In particular, the talk will discuss the studio’s values and approach to innovation and creativity. To give further impressions, Cambridge student and recent Gobo intern Alastair Toft will talk about his experience working in the studio on a real-time volumetric cloud rendering project and show some of the great results. Finally, Cambridge alumnus Hale Harding will talk about some interesting work he did to implement Tie Fighter AI for the Rise Against the Empire playset of Disney Infinity 3.0.
