QIMW01 - Quantum integrable models in and out of equilibrium Light cone spreading of correlations after a quantum quench is a key phenomenon characterising integrable models, which has also been measured in cold atomic experiments. Guided by numerical results for the Ising chain, we'll show that when integrability is broken in such a way that the spectrum consists of only bound states, correlations at large distance get frozen soon after the quench as a consequence of the confinement of the elemetary excitations, implying a breakdown of the light-cone scenario.
