If you have a question about this talk, please contact Dr. Piotr Tourkine.

We will discuss the special geometry of N = 2 supergravity in D = 5, 4, 3 with either Lorentzian or Euclidean spacetime signature, and how these geometries are related to one-another via dimensional reduction over time. As an application, we will see how new soliton solutions can be constructed by lifting instanton solutions in lower dimensions.

This talk is part of the Quantum Fields and Strings Seminars series.
