Optimised Digital Fountain Codes for Medium Blocklengths

Digital fountain codes are a class of forward error-correcting codes for erasure channels. Good decoders exist for long blocklengths, but efficient ones for medium blocklengths are missing. I present a novel decoder based on sparse matrix manipulations.
