Grothendieck-Teichmller Groups, Deformation and Operads

This is based on my current joint work with Y.Komori, K.Matsumoto and H.Tsumura. The first half of my talk is to review and discuss basic properties of complex multiple L-functions and those of their special values at integer points. Based on them, in the second half, I will explain our construction of p-adic multiple L-functions which generalizes that of Kubota-Leopoldt’s p-adic L-function and then will show their several basic properties particularly on their special values at both positive and negative integer points.

This talk is part of the Isaac Newton Institute Seminar Series series.
