Going through life, we might be guided by a wisdom to keep our friends
close, and our enemies far away.
In this talk, I would hope to show how the same principle can be used to
build several machine learning techniques.
We define friends as data points that have the same output or label, and
enemies if they have different labels.
First, I will focus on using this friend-enemy wisdom for building data
representation targeting directly nearest neighbor classification.
Second, I will also show how to transfer knowledge in learning from
multiple datasets with wisdom.
