If you have a question about this talk, please contact nobody. BIDW01 - The Physics and Mathematics of Boundaries, Impurities, and Defects The tutorials will build on the material from Lectures 1 and 2. Each session will begin with a brief recap, followed by a short mini-lecture introducing an advanced topic related to the lecture, and conclude with an interactive problem-solving exercise. In the first tutorial, we will discuss SPTs protected by higher-form symmetries through a worked example on the lattice. In the second, we will study codimension-1 condensation defects on the lattice from a gauging perspective. This talk is part of the Isaac Newton Institute Seminar Series series.
