If you have a question about this talk, please contact nobody. NPCW06 - Non-positive curvature and applications The problem of quasiisometric (QI) classification of solvable Lie groups is very much open. I will present a new method that allows one to distinguish between certain QI classes of solvable Lie groups. A nice thing about this method is that it uses sublinear bilipschitz equivalence, which can be viewed as a generalization of QI in which the additive constant is replaced by a sublinearly growing function. Cornulier proved that these maps play an important role not just in the geometric but also in the algebraic sturcture of solvable Lie groups. Our method exploits this geometric-algebraic relation.
