If you have a question about this talk, please contact md989. In this talk, I will present recent developments and ongoing work aimed at extending the holographic correspondence beyond the conformality. A central focus will be on holographic dualities involving Dp-branes with $p\neq3$. I will start by reviewing the gravitational duals to their worldvolume theories, i.e. maximally supersymmetric Yang–Mills (MSYM) theories in $d\neq4$ and highlight a set of precise tests supporting the proposed dualities. By analytically continuing these setups in dimension, I will demonstrate how the limit $p\rightarrow 0$ grants access to novel observables in the BMN matrix quantum mechanics. Time permitting, I will outline upcoming research directions that go beyond maximal supersymmetry and incorporate more general observables, such as holographic correlators.
