If you have a question about this talk, please contact nobody. TWT - Twistor theory The existence of a global diagonal asymptotic symmetry group in classical general relativity relies on the conjectured antipodal matching of the asymptotic symmetry groups at past and future null infinity in the limit of spatial infinity. In this talk, I will explore how Friedrich’s conformal approach, particularly the cylinder at spatial infinity, provides a framework for proving the matching of asymptotic charges associated with these symmetry groups. Given enough time, I will also briefly discuss related results for the asymptotic charges associated with spin-0, spin-1 and spin-2 fields in Minkowski spacetime.
