If you have a question about this talk, please contact nobody. TWT - Twistor theory There has been considerable interest in Coulomb branches, i.e. (singular)hyperkaehler manifolds which arise as certain irreducible components of moduli spacesof vacua in N=4 supersymmetric quantum gauge theories. For a restricted class of theories,Coulomb branches have been rigourously constructed, as affine Poisson varieties,by Braverman, Finkelberg, and Nakajima. This construction has been subsequentlyextended to a more general class of theories by several authors. In my talk I shallpresent an alternative construction, which, in addition to being simpler, yields the fullhyperkaehler structure of Coulomb branches. This is joint work with Lorenzo Foscolo.
