HTA - Hypergraphs: Theory and Applications In this talk, I will reveal a recent and unexpected connection between TDA and (relative) homological algebra and exact categories. This connection has been leveraged to construct signed barcodes that exhibit ‘stability’ in ways that barcodes derived from Möbius inversions cannot. More broadly, this framework can be used to create descriptors that ‘probe’ data for specific algebraic-topological features. This talk is part of the Isaac Newton Institute Seminar Series series.
