BLHW02 - Machine learning toolkits and integrability techniques in gravity

The classical scattering of cylindrical gravitational waves with zero cosmological constant is governed by a two dimensional integrable system.  The reason it is integrable is that it has a hidden Kac-Moody symmetry called the Geroch group.  We will review these facts and then describe some recent results on a quantum version of this story.
