HHHW06 - HHH follow on: Homotopy: fruit of the fertile furrow The little d-discs operad is one of the fundamental objects of algebraic topology. Through embedding calculus, its automorphism space features in an important connection between geometric topology and homotopy theory. I will discuss what we know and don’t know about these automorphism spaces, and explain some intriguing results about them obtained through the aforementioned connection.
