HYD2 - Dispersive hydrodynamics: mathematics, simulation and experiments, with applications in nonlinear waves New conservation laws are obtained for the equations of dispersive continuum mechanics describing Euler–van der Waals–Korteweg’s fluids, fluids containing small gas bubbles, and long–free surface gravity waves (Serre–Green–Naghdi equations). In particular, analogs of helicity invariants are found. This is a joint paper with Henri Gouin This talk is part of the Isaac Newton Institute Seminar Series series.
